Greetings! I and my family are blessed to be a part of the Chatsworth First Methodist Church Family! My wife Julie and I have 3 children. I grew up in church and have been a Methodist since I was 12 years old. Julie and I are both from Canton, GA, and met at Orange Methodist Church, where both of our families attended while we were growing up.

I recognized my call to ordained ministry for some time before finally pursuing it. I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in May 2017. I previously served as Associate Pastor at Kennesaw Methodist Church. I feel so blessed to serve as Pastor of Chatsworth First Methodist Church and I am excited about all that God is doing and is going to do through this community of faith. 

 December of 2021 will mark Melissa Sneads' 25th year of serving as Office Manager. She has worked with four pastors, numerous nursery attendants, pianists, children/youth ministers & music directors.

Melissa loves her job and believes she has been richly blessed through her service at CFUMC and looks forward to many more years.

Melissa's parents are Fred T. (deceased) & Leola Pritchett. Her dad was born & raised in Murray Co. & her mom hailed from Sand Mountain (Bryant), Alabama.

Melissa calls Murray County home because it’s the only one she remembers -- she was only three when her family moved here.

Melissa is the youngest of six children.

Marla joined our staff as an administrative assistant in the Fall of 2024. She also works part-time as an Executive Assistant for the Pocket Testament League. Previously, she worked for Rock Bridge Community Church and Holly Creek Baptist church in similar roles. She is marries to Matt Sanford and they have two children, Caroline and Mayfield. She is originally from Murray County, and enjoys being outdoors, supporting her kid's activities, and raising cattle.  

Mandy has served as our youth minister since spring of 2022. She also serves as the director for Murray County Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Mandy is energetic and has an infectious love for the Lord. 

Kristi has been a longtime member of the choir and has served as our Music Minister since January 2022. She has been a part of our church for most of her life. 

Mary Margaret will be starting her 25th year with the preschool and 20th year as the school's director. God has blessed many children and families who have been a part of our preschool over the years. She has also served as pianist and organists for numerous years.

Rachel has served as our children's minister since January 2021. She has a passion for working with children and seeing them learn about God's love for them. During her time our children's ministry has become a growing and vital ministry of our church.
